We're doing our part to reduce the volume of trash that we generate. And we've found the perfect partner in achieving that goal. It makes us feel good knowing that our "donut holes" can find new creative uses.
So if you love to host casino themed nights for your friends, where you get together for a few rounds of blackjack, poker or pontoon, and you often brush up on your poker knowledge by reading some techniques and tips on sites such as http://www.onlinepoker.com/ before they arrive, you are sure to have the odd poker chip lying about. So why not give something back to the environment and donate a few chips to The Scrap Box? When you buy a new poker set for example, why not consider sending your old chips to The Scrap Box, where budding artists can be creative with them? The Scrap Box is the place for creative recycling. You will find a large assortment of unique materials which manufacturers and businesses would otherwise send to landfills: remnants, samples, seconds, and scraps. This good "junk" can be recycled into useful materials for art classes, learning games, science experiments, crafts and other expressions of creativity.
The Scrap Box is open to the public. Get more information by visiting their website.
This beautiful display is one of a 1,000 presentation pieces we manufactured for the grand opening of the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida. They were so popular that all 900 sold out within 2 weeks! The set consists of 5 nicely designed Chipco chips (25¢, 50¢, $1, $2 & $5) encased in air-tite holders and placed in a blue velvet steel hinged box. It was topped off with beautiful gold hot-stamping on the inside cover as well as the outside sleeve. Follow this link or click the image for a closer look. We were honored to have been asked to create a frame which was presented to Nascar's own Ricky Craven! This frame holds eight chips, the front and back of $1, $5, $25, and $100 chips that were manufactured by Chipco International for Proctor & Gamble, who sponsor Ricky's Tide car.
